“My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for a whole week. It is such a peaceful environment, and is very close to the beaches. It is in a more rural area of the island, so you can see the stars super clearly at night. Some people complained of the chickens making too much noise, but we didn’t find that to be a problem. The yard is super private, and you’re about 98% out of view of your neighbors. ”

“This place was perfect for my family of 4. The kitchen was well equipped (even a bbq that we used a few times to grill local fish) and there were beach chairs, boogie boards and a surf board for us to use. The place is very comfortable and clean. We loved being so close to Hanalei - both the town and the beach! The host was also great - great communication and helpful tips and reminders. Thank you! ”

“Very nice condo, situated in Princeville close to the Makai golf course and tennis facilities. It overlooks two holes on the Makai golf course with view of the ocean in the distance. 10 minute drive to Hanalei Bay. The unit is spacious with two separate bedrooms, but probably the best thing about the unit was their incedible massage chair that looks directly out onto the golf course.. Well done!”

"Hotel was an older property, in a quiet part of Lihue. Room was in reasonable condition, the room was clean but showed some of the age of the property but don't think that is an easy fix and was part of the charm. The room fridge was very helpful, as was the small amount of utensils provided. All the staff were very friendly and kind. Was able to store luggage prior to check-in and after check-out which was a big help. The coffee available was good and an added bonus. Parking was limited but never had any problems finding a space. The local chickens were a bonus, watching them strut around the streets. "
