Hantverkare stil 350 kvadratmeter timmer ram effektivitet stuga på första våningen, sidovingen av Car House House Chalet och inkluderar: ett sovrum med en king size-säng, badrum med bekvämligheter, vardagsrum med en dubbel läder futon sovhytt, platt-TV med kabel-TV , WiFi och pentry - inklusive mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare, brödrost, komplett porslin, diskbänk och tillgång till utomhusgrill med sidovändare. Blötlägg i en underbar timmerram gazebo täckt badtunna inbäddat i träden på den vackra 2 tunnland gården.
Chalet, en 1 860 kvadratmeter timmerram Barn, byggdes ursprungligen 2005 för att användas av ägaren Jake Thompsons som sin träbutik, förvaring för vagnen och sele och bås för de två Percheron draghästar, Kobuk och Tecumseh "pojkarna" används i vagnsbranschen, med en höloft ovan. År 2010 blev pojkarna pensionerade, och under åren efter att renoveringen började slipades alla vackra Douglas Fir-timmer och omvandlade ett en gång lantligt rum till vackert inredda lyxlägenheter för hantverkare. Carffic House Chalet Effektivitet kallas Kobuk's Stall, som det en gång var.

Definitely a keeper

This was the perfect place to spend the night before hitting the mountain for a little skiing. It was super quiet and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub looked very nice, although we didn’t have the time to use it. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

A retreat from a retreat

My wife and I came down from the valley to get away to the Alyeska Nordic Spa. I wanted something outside of Alyeska and found the Carriage house to be the perfect place! It was perfect to include the added hot tub. The house rules were clear and easily explained. The heated floors were a really nice touch as well. We will be back for our next get-away. :-) Thank you for your hospitality

Anniversary Getaway

We are Alaskan residents that never stop working. This was a much needed retreat. This cozy cottage has all amenities available, even an electric skillet which i needed to make breakfast. This is a peaceful, clean, and comfortable place. The hot tub was clean and refreshing with the chilly air. We will definitely return! Hosts were very helpful.

Just perfect!

My husband and I just stayed here for a quick “honeymoon” night after we got married and to say it was perfect just doesn’t cut it. Within walking distance to downtown girdwood, we had dinner at double musky across the street, coffee at the grind table n the morning, and of course lounged in the hot tub. It was just amazing, thank you so so much!

Great cabin

The cabin is exactly as advertised. Very clean and quiet. The bed is comfy not to soft not to hard. The restaurant across the road is super convenient after a long day on the road. We loved the area and even got to watch a bore tide. We would stay here again if in the area.

Amazing

Kobuk’s Stall was cozy, quiet, quaint, and inviting. Perfect for those on the run or for those who wanted to sleep in just a little later. Rachael and Jake were absolutely amazing hosts. What we neede

Great home and location!

Owners were awesome and the home was very clean with awesome wood work. I would highly recommend this home for your stay in Girdwood. The only things worth noting is the kitchen is very minimalist and there is no washer and dryer. Neither of these bothered us at all and they might have even indicated these things in ad for the home. I’m just pointing it out in case you’re expecting otherwise. There is a laundromat right down the road and plenty of nearby dining options including the excellent place right across the road.

Great location!
