  • The Octopus Den offers two queen beds and a custom built bunk bed with both full and twin mattresses. Remote controlled windows to ensure a restful night sleep from the famous midnight sun. Deep bath tub in the guest bath and rain shower in the master bath. Mesmerizing see through wood stove and modern open living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. Outside, enjoy the private cedar deck with an outdoor lounge area, solo stove and grill! (The hot tub pictured is not in operation-sorry!)

This was a great place for our stay in Anchorage. Clean, well-stocked and in a convenient location for getting supplies at Costco and Fred Meyer for our travels. And having the second bathroom was great for our group! Would definitely book again!

We had a great time. House was very clean, house is equipped with good amount of utensils. The living area is very cozy and warm. Only thing, if owner can put one coat closet rod and some hangers in other 2 bedrooms that would be nice. ThanksHira

The host was very responsive & helpful, and the property is conveniently located in a nice neighborhood. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay! It was very clean & comfortable! I will happily stay again anytime I am in Anchorage.

Moose sleeping in the backyard. We had such a wonderful stay. 6 of us were making our fist trip to Alaska and couldn't have had a better time. The home is in a great location, only a quick trip to downtown. The home was just as described and stocked with everything we needed. 2 people in our group have mobility issues so the walk in shower was a life saver. Communication with the owner was great. And as a special bonus on 2 of the nights of our stay we had a moose come a visit.

Wonderful place! Lots of nice amenities, and pretty clean. Quiet but central location. Had lots of fun! Kitchen is fantastic and Jordan was very helpful and responsive.

Great place to stay. Very clean and nicely maintained. Primary bathroom is amazing!! Host was very good in communication with me, making sure we had all we needed. Would stay there again!!

This was literally the best VRBO experience we've had to date (not that they have been bad, but this owner is the gold standard). Communication is stellar in terms of both offering specific and detailed instructions, and prompt response time. Property is in a fantastic location in a safe and quiet neighborhood, and spotlessly clean. Owner was extremely helpful when our flights got totally botched and we appreciated it very much! Will definitely visit again.
