If you wanted a room where anyone in the multi unit house - or neighborhood - could sneak up the back outside stairs and easily enter by hopping through the window at waist level into your bedroom on the second floor, this is the place for you.
I called the manager who was aware of the issue. Nothing could be done about it. It was sold out tonight and no one ever complained before. Maybe because Alaska is usually cold??? This is a rare warm spell. Lucky me.
Women traveling solo have safety concerns. This is a solo room. I am a travel agent and was a commercial hospitality liability underwriter in another life. This should have been disclosed.
I again viewed the photo of the room - there is nothing to indicate that there is a walkway and stairway outside the window. I can send pictures of the bedroom from the outside looking in from the stairway. It should not be offered as a bedroom. Make it into anything other than a sleeping unit if the safety element cannot be fixed.
This is a huge fail
This is NOT acceptable.
