Host was great no issues there. Just wasn’t impressed with the furniture and bed.Wasn’t very comfortable, the maintenance on the house was in much need of attention.It’s the details like frayed window shades, chipped tiles, stained grout. There was a dirty towel left on back of bathroom door from previous occupants. Anna Maria Island is not a cheap vacation and that’s fine, but with that is the expectation of nice accommodations. One of the bed pillows had a smell of being washed and not dried all the way. It was the only feather pillow in the place. Should be replaced

Beware that the pictures have not been updated and property has different furniture, whih has been poorly been put toegther and just thrown in. Pool is NOT heated as advertised, so if you go to the property in the winter months, the pool will be freezing cold and they will try to tell you that their heater only pulls heat from the environment when it's above 60 degrees. Think they missed what an actual heater is and are counting on the sun to heat up the pool. Headboard was falling off and we quickly realized that the headboard was hung up on the wall by a screw and not attached to the bed, which was a sharp metal frame which banged our shins anytime we walked by (we had to wrap the metal frame in a blanket and pillows after hitting it for the third time). The power went out on the island for hours. There were no flashlights, candles or anything helpful in the property that would help us see where we stepped. It was pitch black and it happened on a sunday, when their property management was closed. Anna Maria Island is paradise, but the property did not meet our expectations considering it was a 35 degrees outside. Lastly, it is not two full bathrooms as advertised, it is a bathroom and a half bathroom. If I was the owner, I would put a little more care in actually getting the property ready for rental.
Headboard not attached to bed, hung up to the wall by a screw.
Cheap and sharp metal frame corners. Feel sorry for your shins. Had to wrap with quilt and cover with pillows. Bed frame was an absolute tripping hazard.
Bedroom furnishings thrown together. Sheets did not even fit the bed. If you go in the winter months, good luck, bring your own blanket. Quilts were so thin, they looked like table cloths.

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay! Only few minutes to direct access to the beach & loved the private pool! My girls enjoyed! We went out to dinner two of the nights & cooked on the grill the another… all wonderful!!! Beautiful location!!! Exceptionally clean & easy check-in & check-out process… the management company was wonderful too! Great correspondence! We will be back!

The place was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for us as a couple and having two bathrooms was extremely convenient. Loved the location and the ability to walk to Pine St. or to Bean Point using the trails between the houses was great! The kitchen was supplied with dishes and serving utensils to make meal preparation at home and entertaining an easy task.

NOT a 1 min walk from the beach. It's 1 min walk to the sign for the beach. Had to rent a golf cart and park at AML rental office and go to the closest beach access to the office. That was really disappointing. Not as private as we'd like, there was always someone in the mornings. The landscape crew almost caught me in a compromised posture when I was trying to erase some tan lines out back thinking it was private. Cute place, nice everything and convenient to shops, further walk for beach than we wanted. A bit misled on that. Golf cart rental place that we were supposed to get a discount with through staying wasn't available but we did book last min, it was my birthday surprise from my bf. But I'd stay here again just for the coziness. The sweetest staff at the office ever though!

location is great, lacking a few basics

overall the location and property is great.only thing keeping this property from being a 4 or even 5 star property is the bedroom. namely, the bed itself is not sufficient for two adults, in both size and comfort for the price. it was a pretty small and rickety bed, without a headboard as well. there are a few other small things that could make this a repeat 5 star property, but the bed is the biggest drawback

This was a very nice little cottage that we stayed in. The pool right outside the door was great. A couple of times we had a minor maintenance issue and they were right there to fix it. We hated to leave because it was so nice. And the beach was a short walk. The only problem was that it rained a lot! One day it rained all day long and all the streets were flooded. We stayed in all day, watched TV and watched it rain!

Just the right size

Location was in the area we love best ! Biking and relaxing with a minimal walk to the beach is our goal. Two bedroom was really one bedroom with a couch that makes a bed. Main bedroom mattress very firm if you like firm! Only need we had that was not available was a broom to sweep the sand The welcome box was great I would add two laundry pods for to be perfect

Loved this property, would definitely stay here again! It was perfect for the 2 of us. The location was PERFECT, couldn’t have asked for a better location, loved staying on the north end of the island! The property managers were great too. The only thing I wish they would change is the queen bed in the master bedroom, it was like sleeping on the tile floor! But I had anticipated that from reading other reviews. I don’t have a bad back, so I was okay, but my husband complained every morning! It was spotless and very nice!

Served our purpose.

The cottage kinda lives up to the saying "you get what you pay for". It served its purpose for us as far as a place to lay our heads at night. There is definitely room for improvement when it comes to the cleaning company. There were gross stains on the ottoman and couch. The shelves above the toilet in the 2nd bedroom have not been dusted in a while. There were no color changing lights in or around the pool as described. The skylight above the bed in the 2nd bedroom is not fun. The moonlight and the sunlight kept we awake, even with my eye mask.
