The house was clean and very well located, which we appreciated. However, the overall level of amenities was quite poor considering the price. For example, beach loungers, which were explicitly mentioned in the listing, were not available.
The most significant issue, however, was the severe noise disturbance. A neighboring house, directly adjacent to the property, is currently undergoing major renovations. This resulted in constant construction noise, which significantly affected our stay.
Unfortunately, the host did not inform us about these works in advance. Had we been aware of this, we would not have booked the property. When we raised the issue, our complaint was dismissed, and the host claimed to have no knowledge of the renovation. This is difficult to believe, as the entire exterior of the neighboring building is being refurbished—a process that clearly has been ongoing for some time.
Overall, while the location and cleanliness were positive aspects, the lack of transparency and the significant disturbance made the stay disappointing.
