“Very nice room, good selection and quality of food for breakfast and lunch.”

“very helpful staff , good prices.”

“I usually stay at Hetland Hall because it is located a bit off and it is quiet. This time though, not so much! There was a wedding reception (on a Tuesday) and I was for some reason given a room just over the ballroom. Extremely loud music until the middle of the night made sleeping impossible. I wasn't informed that there was a party that night and I can't understand why I wasn't given a room in some other part of the hotel. Simply unacceptable.”

“Bog parking space and quiet and calm atmosphere.”

“Många konstiga grusvägar över fälten in till hotellet, egentligen bara en ordentlig grusväg in. Så lite inte på Google Maps helt. Väldigt nedstrippat på tidstypiska möbler i allmänna utrymmen och inredning är mest från 70-talet vilket är tråkigt. Hade otur med ostädat rumbadrum när vi kom, men det såg personalen till att snabbt åtgärda genom att ge oss ett väldigt fint rum. Bra service.”

“Our stay was absolutely amazing! The spacious, clean, and refurbished room with a super comfortable bed was just what we needed. The full English breakfast had generous portions, and every meal was delicious. The staff were excellent, chatty, welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The atmosphere was fantastic! We loved every minute and can't wait to stay again. Highly recommended! 🤩✨”

“The place is really not for business. Internet didn’t work at all during the entire stay. I needed two documents printed, noone could help me. The food was however great and the staff in the restaurant was helpful!”

“Bra hotell, men dött omkring ”

“Paul and Alison were great hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Paul even picked us up from the train station as we couldn't get a cab. Food was hot and great portions. Would definitely recommend, great value for money 🙂”

“Avlopp i dusch var tätt”

“The only positive from our stay, if it didn’t Happen, would have actually been a blessing . The front desk agreed to help us check in later than possible by leaving key in lockbox. Unfortunately, same desk clerk told us hotel was in Dumfries which has a road with a similar which led u s to council housing at midnight. Once we discovered the error we have another 1 hour 15 minute ride to “hotel”. Upon arriving, key was in lockbox, room was large but beds were from the 19th century, incredibly...

“My friends and I stayed overnight during our road trip. We chose the hotel because it was along our route and had ample parking available. We were expecting a comfortable stay, good hospitality, quiet surroundings, easy parking… and that is EXACTLY what we got. Zero complaints and would happily book again if in the area.”

“Property is lovely, a real home from home and the hosts have thought of everything you might need. Pet friendly. Local pub nearby and lots of lovely walks. Very friendly locals.”

“Room was clean room and Staff very hospitable and a Business-friendly environment although location is a bit off road but accessible. Will patronize again when going to Scotland”

“Stay was amazing very restful. Beds comfy and plenty of space for everyone. Great place to stay with family . Owners very welcoming! Definitely stay there again. Thanks for a great stay!”
