Hade ett trippelrum som blev ganska trångt med packning (skulle passat bättre som ett dubbelrum). Varmvattnet i duschen värmdes med hjälp av ett direktverkande aggregat vid duschmunstycket (kändes kallt om trycket var för hårt dvs kallvattnet hann inte värmas upp). “We had quite mixed feelings about our stay here. First of all the fact that you can only check in between 14 and 18 didn’t say in our confirmation email. “Casa de Don Moncho refused to allow us to check in because our bus from Managua arrived late. They left us stranded late at night without a room. I've lodged a complaint with INGUAT (the Guatemalan tourism department) and learned that this hotel IS NOT A LICENSED HOTEL and DOES NOT HAVE THE PERMITS TO OPERATE AS A HOTEL IN ANTIGUA. Now the hotel is keeping my money instead of reimbursing me for the 14 nights they denied me. Tip- there are LOTS of hotels in Antigua, find another one.”

“We arrived on the day of our booking and the manager of the hotel told us that they don't work with Expedia. I had a text and email confirmation of our booking and he told us that does not matter. He told us his hostel was completely full and did not care to help us at all. They also advertise as having free parking, and when we arrived he told us the hostel does not provide parking. Very bad customer service, completely unorganized and not helpful.”

“Hotel was nice, clean, and spacious. Since the bedroom was an upstairs loft, it was about 10 degrees hotter than downstairs. Only having a ceiling fan in the bedroom made it a bit uncomfortable. I asked for an extra fan to cool off and the front desk person told me that they didn’t have an extra. ”
