“We recently enjoyed a delightful weekend getaway at Chapelton Cottage. The cottage itself is charming and impeccably clean. It has everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a cozy fireplace, a comfortable bed, a fully-equipped kitchen and many other extras. We were fortunate with the weather and spent most of the evening time outside enjoying a BBQ and the massive firepit. The location was perfect for anyone seeking a getaway from the hustle and bustle and we would highly recommend...

“Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx”

“A lovely property with a stunning view! All sorts of experiences from 30 minutes to 2 hours away. We enjoyed golf, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Saint Andrews, Dunnottar Castle and more. Fully equipped kitchen made at home meals easy with grocery nearby. Outdoor fire pit was warm and welcoming at night. Gordon is a gracious and helpful host … the his “pet” pheasant very cool to see so close up! Highly recommend this rental to all.”

“Very well equipped and immaculate. In quiet side street off lovely village of Edzell. Near to Angus foothills and beautiful coast and right next to wonderful walk up to rocks of solitude. Couldn't ask for more.”

“The interior and the garden are very pleasant. The advert did not make it clear that the cottage is next to a road of fast flowing traffic, and that parking is next to the road, which is dangerous for getting a dog from the car to the cottage. There are no dog walks nearby. The inclusion of the hot tub drew us in, but we were not going to pay an extra £100 to use it. Those sleeping in the double room found the room too hot, and noisy with passing traffic. It was impossible to use Netflix. On...

“Great location, not far from St Andrews, where we dropped our son off who was studying abroad at the University of St Andrews. Close to town, stores and historic golf! More towels and access to laundry would've been nice for a weeklong stay but accommodations were great, clean and an amazing view!”

We spent an unforgettable week as a group of seven friends in a luxurious house in a beautiful setting.the only regret was that we were not able to take full advantage of the many facilities offered by the estate, such as the walled garden.”
