âOMG! We just loved Chongos Place! The cabins are so cute and beautiful, clean with all necessities. The porch with the hammock was just our favorite place. The plants right outside the porch invite these beautiful hummingbirds and butterflies that we got to observe up close! And the pool was amazing, we spend hours in it each day. Great if you have kids (my daughter never wanted to leave the pool!)
And to top it all... the view of the Arenal is breathtaking.

âDinner at the restaurant is fantastic! The Chocolate tour (5 min walk) was a great mid morning tour and very interesting - make and eat your own chocolate! The walk up to La Fortuna was challenging so ask for a ride of you need one. The owner was incredibly helpful and was able to get me a day pass to Baldi Springs for the locals rate :) â
âFantastic hotel, views, surroundings and service. The whole facility is in top condition and the service is incredible. Our room was cleaned two times per day.
The casitas are very private with their own heated pools which you can use all day round, just ask and they will put on the heater in the morning. The meditation spot, the other pools.. everything is absolutely amazing.

âThe property is fantastic. You are in the middle of the rainforest with wildlife all around. There are lots of activities to fill your time, or you can lounge around one of the pools or in your own plunge pool. The spa services were excellent.â
âWe stayed in a beautiful wood bungalow with private bathroom, air conditioning, terrace and a wonderful view of the Arenal Volcano.
There is a beautiful garden and parking right outside the bungalow. The hotel has a swimming pool, and breakfast at the next door restaurant was excellent.
The personnel was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is situated approx 2 km from the central square, but it was only a cheap, few minutes taxi ride.â

âThe hotel area is the most fantastic garden with birds and wildlife just outside the door. There are sloths, monkeys and much more in the forest on the hotel property. The standard of the room was basic but clean and the functions we needed. â
