Nous avions un enfant de 2 ans et les escaliers et rampes ne sont pas sécuritaires pour de jeunes enfants. C’était très spacieux et tranquille. belle piscine. Il faut savoir que c’est a 15 minutes d’un village pour s’approvisionner. ”

“Clean and safe location. Located near all of the tourist activities but quite far from town and would require a vehicle. Host was wonderful to communicate with, hot water stopped working and it was fixed within minutes by staff. Overall excellent stay I would book again.”

“Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!”

“We had a terrific stay at Casa Del Bosque. The view of the volcano and gardens from the bedroom and porch was incredible. You can hear the river that runs right by the house while sitting on the porch in the morning and evenings. It was a great location to enjoy all the activities around La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano. Derek was the top notch Host, greeting us as we arrived (His dog and cat as well!- Plus for us because we are animal people!), showing us around the property, and available if needed! The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received.
