"Good location next to a creek in charming little Wilmington. But rooms are very small and basic. No glas, no bed table or bed lamp. Had to ask the downstair restaurant for WiFi access - but it didn’t reach up to the rooms. The downstairs restaurant seemed really nice but we came on a Sunday so there were no live music and it closed at 9 pm. Without breakfast included it wasn’t the best deal for us. "

"A beautiful stay with lovely hosts. We stayed in the family suite and had a living room in addition to two bedrooms. Our children refused to go out for dinner our first night because they loved the coziness of our rooms so much! Luckily, there are great takeaway options in Manchester, which is just a short ride. It rained during our two-night long stay, but Kevin helped us fill our day with great suggestions, helped with discounts, and ALSO wrote us a list for nice places to eat with kids in NYC (our next stop). Mike cooked delicious breakfasts, even extra early one of the days since we had a long drive ahead. We would definitely love to come back, hopefully in better weather so we could sit on the old porch overlooking the brook across the street. A truly unique, cozy inn!"
