“Clean and comfortable! Very nice home in a great location. Parking is a concern, but the owner was very nice and allowed us to use their parking space. Be aware that the street is VERY narrow and the house is on a sharp curve, so again driving/parking is a bit of an issue but manageable. Overall, a very comfortable stay and we enjoyed being able to cook breakfast and do a load of laundry!”

“The check-in left me at the gate for 1.5 hours when the key code was not working. It took a while to reach someone on the contact numbers. On day 2 the key code for the main house was not working. It took even longer to get someone on the phone but they were unable to get assistance for 3 hours. I was between the door and my car for 3.45 hours. The temperature was a cold 41 degrees This ruined what would have been a good stay.”

"We had a very pleasurable stay, and were enough to have the house all to ourselves for the majority of the nights we stayed there. The staff is very friendly, helpful and service-minded. Be mindful that there is no dinner served/offered, but there's a cosy place a short walk up in the village of Marmelal."

"The view from this hotel is truly spectacular and without a doubt deserves five stars. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery was the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the hotel itself did not live up to its advertised four-star standard. The property feels dated and worn, with several areas in need of renovation. The breakfast and restaurant offerings were disappointing, lacking both variety and quality. Service was also very inconsistent—some staff members were friendly and attentive, while others seemed uninterested and unhelpful. Overall, if you’re looking for an unforgettable view, this hotel certainly delivers. However, apart from the scenery, the overall experience felt much closer to a three-star hotel than a four-star one."
