“we enjoyed the rustic nature of the stay. Delicious warm bed, bathroom with all that you need, nice loung area. Kitchen was spacious. Some great touches…. Friendly cows, lovely view of farmland, plenty of firewood for the slow combustion heater, Even in the pouring rain that we experienced we felt cosy. Nice dog space for our old dog who cant go up and down stairs. Flat out to the grass.”

We found it a bit small and rather cold when we arrived. The heating did improve matters eventually but we were pleased to be only there for two nights. “Property is in a great location with parking onsite and level access (1 step). Great idea having a code for entry instead of key. Lovely kitchen and living area with good natural light.”

“The house was within walking distance of shops and looked better than the photos. The yard was fully fenced which wasn't completely obvious from the photos. Beds were comfortable and the house was well equipped. Shame about the draughts around the doors.”
