“If you compare this with any hotel Scandic then Loch long hotel is lacking in many areas unfortunately. Pros Nice, friendly staff and management Location is very beautiful! Cons Our room with view towards the lake was very small. You could barely walk around the sides of the bed Line of black mould around window (room clean otherwise) Few choices for breakfast. One of the beds was worn out(when we asked for the mattress to be replaced we were offered to change room but we had already...

“Fab games area we all loved it. Hot tub was amazing as were the views. Great facilities throughout really comfy beds and pillows (my daughter checked the brand and has ordered some online) we loved it! ”

“Our stay at the Lodge was short. I wished it was longer. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were amazing. We had dinner in the dining room. It was delicious. Service was good. Wine was a bit pricey. Breakfast was included in our stay. We had choices of continental or hot menu. Before and after our stay I messaged the hotel and they were prompt in answering my questions.”

“We had a lovely one night stay at this hotel in Balmaha. Can highly recommend staying here and the food in the restaurant in the evening was also really good. Cafe next door had great coffee and icecream and a good bacon buttie in the morning for breakfast. Can highly recommend everything here . Remember to take a walk round the edge of the loch as well and climb the small hill for lovely views ! ”
