“CARLSBADS little secret! Great price, huge room! Clean room and bath, nice staff, good breakfast 😋 Soooo much cheaper than the chain hotels in the area. We enjoyed our stay, pool looked great wish we could have tried that too.”

“our room was so clean and comfortable. we loved the pool and hot tub plus breakfast was yummy. the coffee they made was delicious ! overall, such a perfect place to stay. other than that, we had some issues with our room keys not unlocking the door, but teri and mark helped right away to fix the problem. they were super attentive and professional thank you so much for taking care of us teri and mark !”

“The rooms were older and not well taken care of. It was not very clean. I don't know how in the world it got a score of 8 on the reviews. I would probably give it a 3.”

“Water was turned off at the hotel when we arrived. No staff told us what was going on. Water turned on my 2 hrs after we arrived”

“I booked this motel because it was one of the few options Hotels.com gave me, but when I got to Carlsbad I found alot more places to stay at lower prices-was not happy! I paied about 150 dollars/night for this place, and I'm not sure why it's so expensive.... I was there on a Friday and Saturday, and perhaps that's why, but I will definitely look harder if I ever return to Carlsbad. It's an ok place to stay, run down and a bit "musty", but the room was clean and the fridge/microwave worked fine....
