I will be upfront since the owners claim they aren’t hiding the real cleaning cost, but the certainly aren’t advertising it. The real cleaning fee is 125. There is a fee hidden in the rental agreement. The “option” mentioned in the listing is for if you don’t change and re-apply your linen, make the bed (so obviously it’s 50/50 on if the linen is actually clean, as clearly the owners don’t want to do it. They also would like you to wash and put away any glassware (again…is this actually happening?) and take out the trash (which is normal) you also have to put all used items in the wash. Had I know that besides the 75 fee you are immediately charged, when you walk in to the unlocked cabin, there is a big sign informing you of the extra 50. Had this been on the description, that I would be charged 2 fees, I would have stayed somewhere that didn’t. Also fair warning, the hot tub sucks, and the the bathroom has a light yet constant urine/porta potty smell-particularly after a shower.
