“This is truly a gem near DuPont National Forest. The property location is as close as you would expect - 10 minutes drive to all the waterfalls and scenic hikes as well as stores nearby. My family stayed for 3 days and we had so much fun at the cabin. It has pretty much everything and the owner Susan and Gerald were very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The hot tub was a huge plus for the kids. We would definitely visit again. ”

“We were very pleased and happy with the home. There were kyacks and a canoe that we used almost everyday. The grandchildren swam and played in the lake. The road up to the home was 1.9 miles and our daughter ran on it everyday for a total of four miles a day. Quite the workout! The owner supplied plenty of towels, tissues, paper towels dish soap and dishwasher detergent. There also was tide available if you didn’t bring your own. “The cottage was exactly as described by the host - relaxing, private, less than 6 miles to dining and shopping in Brevard. Lots of waterfalls and hiking trails nearby. We really enjoyed the outdoor amenities at the cottage - hot tub, movie screen, and mountain views from the deck. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and there was a gas grill. Located in a gated area (security) this rental is the bottom half of a large well maintained home, and if you're concerned about privacy because of that, you needn't be. We didn't hear a sound from our hosts Ursula and Frank, until we invited them down to make our acquaintance. We had a great time talking with them too ---so very friendly and down to earth. On top of that, you'll really appreciate the quiet and privacy they offer. Next...If you want...

“My husband and I stayed for the weekend to celebrate our 21st anniversary. The cottage is located on a farm. The farm land is beautiful! We loved sitting on the porch of the cottage. The cottage itself is so pretty. The hosts Gina and Kevin thought of everything that you might could need. The small details are so important and they did great with this. It felt like a home away from home. We would recommend this Vrbo to anyone! We will definitely be back! ”

“The Sunrise Cottage was perfect for my husband, me, and our teenage daughter. It is in a great location and has everything we needed. Carol is a great host and a has a fantastic green thumb. Her gardens are lovely!”

“The cabin was excellent all the way around! Very close to our family that live in Brevard and to Pisgah National Forest. I especially appreciated the well stocked dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, bath soap, towels and trash bags.
