“The host largely ignored our texts and requests. He never came to fix the things that he said would be sorted. The house was generally in a poor state of neglect, fridge door didn't close, kitchen kick board falling off, cooker inadequate for large group. The dishwasher stopped closing at one point and my brother fixed it after borrowing tools from a neighbour. The host just said it was working before. Pool was toxic and not maintained. My great nephew was sick after swallowing the water....

“No communications. Hidden costs, held to ransom after arrival to get keys. Dirty And worst of all no bed sheets , pillow cases or duvet covers. When asked where they were was told not listed in ad and hung up on. Agreed the listing didn’t say bedding included but didn’t say it wasn’t and for the expensive cost I would have expected it. This is basically a PGL style bunk house. Avoid at all costs.”

“Nous avons passés 2 semaines charmantes et reposantes. La maison était propre à notre arrivée (avec en plus un petit cadeau de bienvenu) , rien ne manque pour passer un court ou un long séjour au calme. La piscine chauffée est évidemment un plus pour se rafraichir. Tous commerces à 5 min en voiture. Des hôtes discrets mais disponibles si besoin. Nous recommandons cette location pour ceux et celles qui souhaitent découvrir cette partie de la Normandie (Caen, Bayeux, Arromanches....). Merci à...
