âWow, what a nice place. The staff and the restaurant were great. The place is old, has high ceilings and single glass windows. Here comes the problem. It was freezing cold. The room got ok after a while but the bathroom was just freezing cold. They should think about a solution to better insulate the windows.â

âI really enjoyed my stay eventhough at the beginning I had a room where my tv did not work but the member of staff was so helpful when I explained this . He said someone would come but they did not come so I went back to him and also told him how my towels were soiled. He changed my room . I had a great sleep and he cooked a great breakfast . He works really hard and was nice . Respect for the staff member who was the only one I saw there on my stay doing everything . â
âStayed twice now and had a fantastic night sleep on both occasions. Amazing staff, always super friendly and the pub food is amazing. Highly recommend, I will be staying again. â
âRoom was fantastic, spacious, clean, quiet (apart from a fire alarm but that probably doesn't happen very often) and customer service was exceptional. There was some work being done in the corridor but that did not impact our stay. We were meeting family and exploring the area and found it was close to the major roads. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of lovely food choices in the pub attached. I would recommend this hotel. â
âThere was lots of parking available. Check in was easy and the receptionist was very helpful in pointing out where our room could be found and where the spa could be accessed near our room. Having three single beds in one room is a really good idea for three adults to share - I went with my two daughters and none of us wanted to share a double bed so three singles in a room was exactly what we needed. The pool area was nice but some of the chairs were broken and the ceiling could do with...

Couldnât fault the staff, they were very efficient , polite, friendly & helpful.
Breakfasts were lovely and the meal we had in the pub, was very good, generous portions too. â
âThe place is a little outdated, but we expected that from the pictures. However, the staff is very friendly and helpful, it's clean, the beds are firm (a bit too firm for my liking, but my husband loved them!). We had a family room, and it was very spacious, there was a king size bed for us and two proper single beds for the kids. All in all very good value for your money!â
