“The house was very clean and spacious. I loved the wood floors as I had a dog with me and this made it easy to clean up any accidents. I also liked that it was so close to the UGA campus. The beds were very comfortable and the walk in shower was a dream ! It was also equipped with a full size washer and dryer. Overall, this would be a great place for family and friends to enjoy a game weekend or campus for parents of a college student.”

Only had two minor things and they were taken care of immediately. We went to the zoo, botanical gardens, Stone Mountain and the park, all very close. “We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay at The Cottage in Monroe. The beautiful historic home is clean and spacious with restored hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout. The wide front porch and well-equipped pool and patio area were especially relaxing. The beds were extremely comfortable, and our hosts supplied everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The downtown Monroe area is walkable with fabulous restaurants and cute shops. I highly recommend Jordan and Patrick as your hosts!”

“We didn't get to enjoy the outdoor amenities because we kept busy with graduation activities on campus, but the inside definitely met our needs. Mark and Regina have taken care to think of everything you might need on your stay away from home. They are friendly hosts who are responsive thru the entire process. It was an easy drive on to campus and downtown. Highly recommend for your family's place to stay in Athens!”

We were in town for my daughter's graduation from the University of Georgia, and it was so nice to have a home to hang out in rather than being in hotel rooms. We were comfortable and able to spread out. Also, it is far enough out in the country to be quiet and away from the busyness of Athens, but you can be downtown in 15 minutes.
