“House was in a prime location about a ten minute drive to the downtown and other local attractions. We were looking for a “in the woods” feel and this was a great mix of convenience and seclusion. The back deck is really nice. If traveling with small children who are used to sleeping in dark rooms, I do suggest bringing travel black out shades for the large windows in both bedrooms. We found the downstairs bedroom to be easier for our kids. ”

“My daughter and I enjoyed this lovely wooded setting, sat and watched the rain, enjoyed movies and cooked light meals. It was a perfect home base for a family visit. ”

“Katherine is a wonderful host and is very responsive! The home is right off the main road tucked back into a beautiful, serene setting yet very close to town and the ski resort. It had everything we needed and was very cozy! Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, including my own. ”

And the home was decorated tastefully and simply. Not cluttered at all, and with everything we needed for our vacation. The host is very kind and responsive.”

It is convenient to downtown and so many great places to hike and explore. Excellent communication from the owner and they provided suggestions for places we had not yet seen. “Great stay for our bi-annual friends reunion! This place had everything - the lake was well-equipped with kayaks, mini kayaks for the kids, pedal boat, etc. With comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone, and enough plates bowls cups and a big table to gather around. Grill, seating areas for reading or morning coffees, fire pit, hot tub. And of course the sauna! Everything worked great and was so comfortable for our stay. Great communication from our host - absolutely would recommend!!”

The top deck with the porch swing was our favorite chill spot and the living room couches were so big and comfy. The host was very responsive when I reached out and I would definitely recommend this property. We had 10 people in our group and we were very comfortable! ”
