“Excellent new Experience”

“Room in an old school converted into a rental unit. Beds, furniture, etc very ‘well used’. Plumbing exposed, cabinets and shelves unfinished…..but, it served our purposes. There was plenty of room inside and everything worked. It’s just not an aesthetically pleasing accommodation.”

“Beautiful space!! Spacious room (2 bedrooms and private bath) with comfortable beds and pressed sheets. Artistic touches - handmade quilts, paintings, crafts made by the owners and their children. Breakfast was a show stopper - baked stuffed croissants and Dutch babies covered in fresh berries and cream. Thanks to Art and Martha they are truly fantastic hosts!”

“The hotel is very modern and located downtown with underground parking available overnight for a fee. Breakfast was self serve continental style. Our room on the 11th floor was huge and had a waterfront view.The staff at the front desk were very helpful.”

“The dome was fantastic, it even had a television, which was great for the evening and when it rained. It is a work in progress so be patient it is all about the dome. It had huge views. Jeff was outstanding. The showers broke down but they let us use a hotel room. The hot tub should be deleted. I recommend them, once they are completed the price will certainly rise.”

“The staff was friendly and helpful and the beds were comfortable. The sound does carry so if there are noisy guests that might be an issue but we had no trouble with that. Definitely a convenient location - a short drive from the puffin viewing site in Elliston and Bonavista. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Staff were excellent. Breakfast included and was of perfect quality. Sausages, bacon, pancakes, eggs, cereal, toast, everything, couldn’t ask for better. Pool was nice but cool, hot tub only held 2 people at a time, there was a line up, did not get to go in, went back to our room for hot shower instead. Would highly recommend staying here but don’t get too excited about hot tub, people in it really enjoyed it for more than half an hour.”

“We stayed here twice. The facilities are clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was even allowed to do laundry free of charge. The food at the restaurant was pretty good.”
