Waking up to those beautiful lake views was pure magic, and having such easy access for our jet ski made every day an adventure. We also had a blast discovering some amazing local restaurants. “Valcour Cottages was the perfect escape for a lake house vacation! The house was clean, perfect view of Lake Champlain, and provided wood for fire pits at night. We were able to use the tubes we brought to swim on a calm water day (there are steep steps to the water, but also a couple close beaches) The Cottages are near some gorgeous hikes! We hiked to the top of Rattlesnake Mountain and cliff jumped at Flumes Falls. Adirondack River Rental made Kayaking perfect along Ausable River! The host...

“We were able to make meals when we chose to stay in because all of the basic cookware and utensils were available. This trip was myself and 4 adult daughters so 3 full baths was one of the reasons I chose this property. The dining room table was for a large family and the living room was cozy for board games and movies. This was the perfect setup for our family. It was home away from home. Highly recommended for families.”

“This place was a fantastic location for me and my boyfriend to get to and from the lacrosse tournament that he was playing in. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it is less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Lake Placid and numerous trailheads in the area. We appreciated that it was pet-friendly and were able to bring our rescue pup along with us. The house was extremely clean and exactly as shown in the photos. Would definitely stay here again.”
