“My wife and 4 kids, aged 7-16, stayed for nights. PROS: We loved the location, easy to get to Marquette and other sites. Kids loved the table games. Kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of utensils dishes, etc and things, like a soft-sided cooler we could bring along for picnic lunches at waterfalls. CONS: honestly not much, There are some little things that could be improved, we used the pool table a lot, and while we loved it, it was wobbly. A little more comfy seating in the main...

“The location is just out of the main strip of munising. It’s a little too far to walk to town, but there was plenty of parking in town so this wasn’t a problem for us. The property was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay there!”

“We loved this super conveniently located home! The home was so comfortable for everyone and we played Cornhole every night! We walked down to the outpost for pizza and grabbed a few key items from the little station. Would definitely recommend again. ”

“Clean, relaxing environment, over looking a small lake, was stocked with all the essentials you would need. Close enough to all of the Pictured Rocks attractions, but out of town enough to relax. Well kept property inside and out. Would visit again. Thanks for a memorable experience! ”

“This was a lovely getaway with a “middle of the woods” feel. Julie was so kind and accommodating to our request to add on an extra day. The check in process was easy and Julie’s home is nearby, so there is a strong sense of safety. She has thought of everything so the house felt well stocked and ready for guests. We would gladly stay here again!”

If you use them, just beware that you need to carry them to an access point. It is almost impossible to carry them down the hill. We had an issue when we used the numbered key pad to lock the door. “This cottage was great for our family. It is located right on the river bank in a quiet area. The living room and kitchen were roomy, and the bedrooms plenty big.It was clean and well stocked with kitchen ware, and paper products.The outside area was great for sitting as a group, having an evening around the fire pit, or sticking your feet in the river. We had paddle boarders and swimmers with us that took advantage of being riverside. Nobody brought a fishing pole, so I don’t know about fishing...

“Everything about this stay was wonderful. Our whole family was able to be together under one roof and there was plenty of space for all of us. Au Train beach was fun, only a short walk. The property owner/manager were wonderful and super kind & helpful.Would definitely stay again if in the area. ”

“We had a terrific stay at Anna’s Place. It was clean and comfy. Would totally stay there again. The city was repairing the road so the trip into Munising was blocked which made the drive into town 8-9 minutes longer. There is a small stream next to the house and across the road a place to take a short walk to Lake Superior. Some in our group walked there to bird watch and star gaze at night.”

“It is a little slice of heaven. So peaceful. The house and grounds were nicely kept up. The neighbors so very nice and helpful! Got to know the Midway Market. It has everything you need!We all had a great time. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful week.”

“The home was exactly as pictured. It was very clean, and stocked incredibly well!! We loved starting the mornings with our coffee around the fire table in the back. Downtown was a short walk away and the beach was a 5 minute car ride. We loved everything about the house. A second shower would have been a bonus, but we didn’t have a problem making it work with one. We will definitely stay here again! ”

“This place was great! We were up in that area for a long weekend to check out Waterfalls. It was 15 min drive to Pictured Rocks. Was in a private area and was very well kept up. The mosquitos were intense when we first got there guessing because l you are right off of the au train river. However, we had brought thermacells so we were able to enjoy the hot tub and the deck area. Highly recommend. ”
