“The girl was super clean, convenient, and the staff was great”

“This hotel is fine. It serves its purpose and not much more. It is clean, but it’s just starting to get run down. The water is LOUD coming out of the faucets. The water dispenser is part of the juice machine and my husband wanted to fill a cup of water to bring back to the room but the machine was off. When we asked at the front desk they said it’s only on in the morning. We asked if there was another way to get some water and they didn’t even get up from their seats in the inside office...

“We booked this hotel quite some time ago since the dates were extremely busy in Auburn and many hotels were fully booked even 6 months before arrival. I read the comments and they seemed OK. But, the only thing that was good about this hotel was the bed. Very comfortable. However, the hotel is really run down and desperately needs an update. Carpet dirty, A/C freezing even in low cool setting (I now have a cold), toilet wobbly (something loose or missing from the base), shower running with water...

“I had to stay a week here and it was great! The cleaners aren’t super great but the front desk people are so super awesome! The laundry facility was very helpful in my situation!”

“This Holiday Inn is extremely run down- was there for 4 nights and room was only serviced once (no the do not disturb sign was not on door) I had to finally insist someone service room. Tub wouldn’t drain had to take a shower in bath full of water. Called and they sent maintenance but because the room wasn’t serviced in a timely fashion the soap scum remained on tub. Positives were front desk was very friendly and the free coffee is actually very good- won’t be returning”
