The owner was super available and responded immediately to any questions. Check in was easy and there were no check out instructions like some places have you do a million things (we still did all of those things even though it wasn’t asked but just because we were so appreciative of our experience). “The little log cabin was perfect for me and my teen daughter. It felt private, the surroundings were beautiful. It was in a perfect location to explore the Yuba and Nevada City. The kitchen was basic but it had everything we needed. ”

“Staying at Tara was an amazing experience. Everything was exactly what we were looking for to get away for the weekend! The cabin was spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals including spices and condiments (except butter), the couch was so comfortable, there were extra blankets, towels, toilet paper and even a first aid kit. The privacy was amazing, it was like being in our own little world. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub (and skinny dip) and I took a relaxing bath...
