“We arrived at the property very late at night, but the carport light was on! Huge help! The address post across the driveway was a big help also!The house was very clean! All the bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. were squared away in perfect order!I think the greatest help was the mosquito spray in the "care package".I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a tranquil, quiet place to spend some time.With all the beauty the North Carolina coast has to offer at hand.”

We enjoyed the proximity to town and listening to the cicadas while the sun set over the Pamlico. It was a fairly quick drive to Goose Creek State Park. FYI- this section of the river and the nearby Haven's Park are saltwater fishing designated. If you fish from the park downtown (past the railroad bridge), then it is freshwater. 20...
