I would not vacation here with small children.

The home is much older than it looks in the pictures. It is three story but all stairs are wooden and exterior, not interior. There is an elevator that is not available to guest. We had a guest step on a wooden plank on the third story deck and it broke under his feet. We cut our vacation short due to the conditions of the home. There were also concerns of cleanliness and insects.

Absolutely Horrible!

The pictures are not what you actually get. The floors of the home are not connected internally. Stairs outside are unsafe. AC wasn’t working and they did not fix it. It was 90F and a total sweat box! Dirty dishes. Had to move out after first night because of the AC. Went there to celebrate dad’s 83rd birthday and ended up with a very hot, horrible experience I wish upon no one. Property Managers were not responding quickly (took them 18 hours to say they can’t fix AC). Asked for a full refund and still no response- has been 3 days!

Could’ve been better

Our stay could’ve been 100x better if the property was professionally cleaned before our party of 15 arrived! There were a number things wrong throughout our 3 day stay, but cleanliness was the biggest issue. The primary bedroom sheets had hair throughout the sheets and on both sides of the pillows We found mouse droppings on the kitchen cabinets and in the oven and in the dishes in the cabinets The ac on the 2nd floor was reading 72 but felt like 82 throughout the night We had to go into town and buy cleaning supplies to clean the whole whole before we could unpack and start cooking in the kitchen. Every balcony had large animal pools near each window, it was so bizarre that this wasn’t cleaned before the booking. Yes we rented a lakeside place in the hill country but we did want to walk up the stairs to poop every day. All counter tops were filthy at first wipe, it was plenty of dirt like it hadn’t been wiped in months. It was just all bad..I have pictures and videos of everything. We did communicate to the company and they offered to send out cleaners and pest control DURING our stay. Smh we declined and cleaned it ourselves.
