“Amazing staff. We had the master suite, part of the old estate. Overlooking the pool and valley. Amazing views. Serene and chill days by the pool. Easy to go for excursions if you have a car; 10-20min to a lot of options. The old restaurant has burnt down and been moved up to the main building. It suffer a bit because it is a very small kitchen, but it sounds like they have plans to expand. Very generous, allowed us to try wines and explained a lot. Would sit with us and share. “Leider müssen wir sagen dass von Jahr zu Jahr sowohl die Sauberkeit als auch die Ausstattung schlechter wird. Preis Leistung sind aus dem Gleichgewicht. Da wir fast jedes Jahr dort wohnen seit 2011 können wir das wirklich beurteilen. Schade denn die Lage ist sehr schön.”

“We are experienced travelers and this was one of, if not the best hotel experience we have had. What set the stay apart was the hospitality and friendly atmosphere. We got advice on wineries, help with restaurant bookings and bookings/discounts on other activities. The location was perfect with very good restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance and several wineries we know of within a 10 km radius. We will recommend the hotel to all our friends.”

Breakfast continental is disapointing: fruit was a single tangerine. noise from road only outside. in our room we have a wall glass opening to a internal patio, with 5 or 6 air conditioning. Noise did not disturb. However there is no blind or curtain in this very large window: light will invade the room at sunrise. ”

“Unfortunately quite rude staff and not very clean rooms. In particular the male manager was nonchalant, superiour and not very service-minded. Overall the rooms are in need of an upgrade, as they are somewhere worn down, while the main building was good. The restaurant was not very good (at least for lunch). Would not recommend and not go back myself. The good things about this place is the closeness to Delaire Graff and the views, which can’t be argued.”
