Villor i Bacalar

"Avoid this place like the plague !!! The only good things about this hotel is the breakfast and the views of the lagoon. I booked this place because of the raving reviews and scenic views, but once you arrive you quickly figure out that the reviews are clearly fake. Cleaning is seriously crappy, me and partner were met with piss stained sheets, piss stained toilet seat, Hair and gunk everywhere you looked. The windows looking out to the lagoon was so dirty you needed to be outside, to at all be able to enjoy the views. We arrive at about 4pm and when we went to the reception to ask about getting out room cleaned, we were told that it was to late to get any cleaning already. Staff at front desk is subpar at best. Also there is a reason why there isn't any pictures of the toilet and shower available, because they look like crap. The shower is literary just made of bare concrete a shower head and a crooked wooden shelf, that's it !! I would honestly not even recommend this hotel if it would have been priced at 1/5 of current rates. If you are like me and really value a good, clean hotel with nice staff, so you can relax and enjoy your vacation. Seriously do yourself a favor and avoid this place. If you do not care about price and cleanliness and wants a hotel that brings WW2 bunker vibes and a nice view, go ahead and book. "

"Trevligt familjeägt hotell med toppenläge en gata från vattnet. Centrum med marknader, restauranger och all tänkbar service ligger precis utanför dörren. Vårt dubbelrum var rymligt och rent. Familjen som äger och driver hotellet är supertrevliga och hjälpsamma på alla sätt. Allt gott"

"Fantastiskt ställe vid lagunen. Lugnt och väldigt vackert. Ligger lite avsides, så bil behövs för att kunna ta sig in till Bacalar. Restaurangen var bra och mysig, en del mygg (inte som märks, men vill man undvika myggbett rekommenderas myggmedel). Toppen att det ingick SUP och kajak. "
