It was the perfect respite for our stay before our puffin tour the next day and close to town for a concert on the common and restaurants. Note : to access one of the bedrooms you need to go through the bathroom, but it worked out fine. Dmitri was super communicative and was kind enough to let us know we left a pair of shoes there after we departed. Since we were still in the area, he left them on the porch for us to retrieve, which...

“The whole property was beautiful, and the view was amazing. All was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen is small but adequate; it does need some additional items to make it easier to prepare meals. I made some suggestions to the host. “We had a great stay at Heron’s Perch! This house has lots of space for hanging out and sleeping. The beds are comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels provided and a well stocked kitchen. Our absolute favorite was the wonderful, private front porch. This house is within walking distance to everything down front on the island. If you’re looking for space and being close to the ferry, stores and beaches I would highly recommend.”

“This home was a gem nothing short of amazing the 360 views from any room were top notch.My only complaint is that the floors were very sandy/sticky/dirty, we swept and mopped shortly upon our arrival but this would not deter me from renting again and again. So comfortable & gorgeous. Do not even think about it BOOK IT ASAP. 10/10 would return. ”

The street was quiet, and the backyard was perfect for our 2 dogs.The place was very clean, and it felt like we were staying in a home, not a house. The host was very responsive.Overall 10/10.
