Riverfront Home in Dominical

This newly- built natural house features a large living room with kitchen and dining room, 1 bathroom with a nice hot shower, 1 room with queen bed that has access to the terrace and views to the river, 1 room with single bed and a desk space, and a sofa bed in the living room with two additional comfy armchairs. The living room also has access to the beautiful terrace in which you will find a comfortable hammock and a table for breakfast or outside dining.


The kitchen has a new fridge with freezer on top, a good blender, an orange juice squeezer, good cutting boards, all necessary cutleries, bowls and plates, water glasses and a jug, mugs for tea and a teapot and coffee maker. For cooking, there is a single stove that works with gas and pans and pots, as well as some electrical cooking pots and a rice cooker with steamer. There is also a water filter to drink water safely.

The house is simple and spacious, with lots of natural light coming in, good fans and a gentle breeze from the river that keeps it cool at all times. Just in front of the house following a little trail parallel to the river you can access an almost private spot with a rocky shore from which you can swim inside the river and enjoy the sunshine as you hear the sounds of the water and the birds. There is another secluded spot just 5mins walk away from the house on the way to Dominical which has a deeper area for swimming with a sandy little beach and more shade.


The house is part of a 2000m2 parcel with a nice garden on one side of the property and a more wild area with many bananas growing as well as some other fruit trees like Biriba, Mamon Chino, Lime, Jackfruit, Avocado, Snake Fruit and Zapote. We love fruits and and we are very passionate about planting and regenerating land. We live just 25 min away in Playa Hermosa (Uvita) and we will be available for any questions or needs you might have, we know all this area well and we are happy to help and make suggestions for your trip to be the best it can be!


The house is just 2 km away from Dominical, it takes about 5 mins by car (you do not necessarily need 4x4) to get to the centre of town where you can find all the basic things you might need like restaurants, food stores, pharmacies, organic and artisanal markets, clothes and souvenir shops, surf rental companies, yoga studios, etc. Dominical has a lovely large beach with some beautiful natural rock formations, it is perfect for taking long walks and also features some of the best surf in the area (more for advanced surfers, for beginners look for Dominicalito). You can also walk to Dominical in about 30 mins from the house, the road is all flat and has some beautiful trees and different access points to the river. The neighborhood is very peaceful and safe.
