There are a couple of ‘tired bits’ of soft furnishings that could benefit from updating… bedding and duvets as these have been the same for the 2 years, and the majority of the blind cords are knotted and don t work. “The cottage is set in a beautiful location in woodland with hills beyond. Ballater is the nearest small town which is 20 mins walk away with cafes, shops and restaurants. We had a lovely time. Highly recommended. ”

Up early each morning to see the garden wildlife, fox, hares, squirrels, pheasants, woodpecker and lots of finches.Great cottage with all that you need, only downside was the third bedroom which is better suited for children than adults, mezzanine area.Fraser and Bridget lovely and very welcoming.We certainly will visit again to explore this beautiful area.”
