“This was by far our favorite location. Beautiful view and great location. It was a little inconvenient to go upstairs to go to the bathroom. I also was a little shocked to see people sitting right outside our patio door having breakfast at 7am.”

“The location was amazing! Easy walk into town and not too much traffic on the road. Aberfoyle is a great town with several food options and access to a lot of activities. There is a grocery store within walking distance too. The apartment itself was nice with basic amenities. I would have given it 5 stars if it was better stocked. We had no real complaints and recommended this as a nice place to stay.”

“Das Haus hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme und Historie.Die geografische Lage ist bekanntlich sehr ruhig, sonst würde man die Region nicht wählen und das Wetter in Schottland, gerade am Wasser, ist unberechenbar (September-Reise). Dafür ist der Ausblick am Morgentisch ganz toll und die Landschaft für Drohnen-Flüge sehr schön !Bei der Ausstattung war alles vorhanden, was man für zwei Wochen Urlaub benötigt, inkl. “This mews apartment is in a fantastic location in Glasgow, a wonderful neighborhood near the Kelvingrove Park and West End, but still walking distance to downtown. Owners were very communicative and the flat itself is charming, clean and comfortable. We would happily stay here again.”

“We’ve stayed in quite a number of short term rentals and can say that the Bothy has absolutely been our favorite! Fiona has thought of everything and we absolutely loved all the little touches. It was everything we needed. Great, fully stocked kitchen so we could cook healthy meals for ourselves and a very comfy bed to get much needed rest. She even offered to do a wash for us if we needed. We were honestly so sad to leave. Its proximity to Luss was a huge plus. Love the area!”

“What a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. On an arrival it was lovely to have a little welcome package and to find the cottage spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. No need to have brought wash liquid, toilet rolls etc. The surrounding area is fantastic and is convenient for local amenities.Wish we could have stayed longer. ”

“We had a wonderful few days staying in The Old Smiddy cottage. Fiona and David were wonderful hosts, very attentive whilst being happy to give us our space. The cottage itself was very comfortable, all the rooms were a nice size, very clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and we particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife in the burn from the garden!The area is fantastic for enjoying nature and family activities.We would definitely recommend staying here for a couple or small family.”

“The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We did have to download an app to get a precise location which was unexpected, but easy enough to use. The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice! Word of warning: careful with the upstairs windows as flies like to congregate on them!”
