Stugor i Balsam Grove

“This cozy cottage is so far the best we stayed at. It’s very clean. It felt like home the moment we stepped inside. The bedrooms are very well furnished and decorated. The beddings are no longer longer cabin-y and actually so much better than how it was in the photos. The minor details are very well thought of. Out from the porch is a view of the mountains although this time of year is slightly limited. I can just imagine how it is in the fall and winter months.”

“This cabin was perfect for relaxing. The peaceful setting was exactly what we were hoping for. I could spend all day on the porch listening to the brook and birds. We look forward to visiting again.”

“Excellent gathering and vacation spot for an event at Symmes Chapel and the YMCA Camp Greenville .”

“Clean, comfortable cabin that was the perfect size for a couple. Very well appointed home in the forest, in close proximity to mountains and hiking.”

“Exactly as described. Quiet, serene. Would definitely come back.”

“Great accommodations for a late winter vacation. The home was well-appointed and clean and provided enough room for our family. The host communicated all of the check-in instructions and check-out procedures well in advance and we did not experience any delays or inconvenience. We will definitely make it a point to return in the future.”

“Such a nice place for a week long get away.Had all the essentials that were listed and very spacious!”

“Lovely time and beautiful home!”

“Amazing cabin! Exactly what we needed. Super comfortable, quiet and clean!”

“A great place to stay! The best way to describe the cabin is ... quaint, relaxing, comfortable with a rustic ambiance. The location is quiet with great views of meadows and scenery. The porch swing and rocker on the back porch was a nice place to sit and read. There is good access to private hiking trails and convenient to Pisgah National Park trails and the Davidson River and other small rivers for fly fishing. We enjoyed all of the local fruit and vegetable stands and the small towns of Brevard...

“The cabin does smell musty, which is worse in the kitchen and cabinets. I mention for anyone with mold allergies. This is probably expected since it's a rain forest. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen has great counter space for cooking and prep. We will definitely stay here again.”

“The cabin provided a cozy and tranquil stay for 2 peeps. It’s the perfect distance from the airport, hikes, grocery store, and several tasty restaurants. Our trip was planned around catching the symphony in Asheville. After looking at how pricey downtown Asheville was, I’m glad I hopped on VRBO and found this spot! The cabin is no frills but has all the amenities you’ll need. The outdoor porch provides a sweet time to take in the Appalachia serenity and hang with the local chickens/ducks. We...
