Wooded House in Town med havsutsikt, nära till allt

Stuga belägen i skogen på den lugna sidan av M. D.I. med fantastisk utsikt över Ytterhamnen och ön. Husdjursvänliga. Gångavstånd till stan och Great Harbour Marina med mer än ett dussin restauranger i området samt Island Explorer Shuttle Bus System (23 juni till Columbus Weekend) till nästan överallt på M. D.I. och Acadia National Park. Minuter till Acadia, vandring, cykling, kajakpaddling, simning, bergsklättring, fågel- och valskådning och mycket mycket mer.
Detta är en ny stuga, färdigställd hösten 2012. Detta är en stuga med två sovrum med en stor loft master. Loftet har en king size-säng med massor av utrymme och två halva höjd förvaringsskåp, det stora sovrummet har en queen size-säng med hängande och byrå förvaring, det lilla sovrummet har två våningssängar och byrå förvaring. Köket är öppet mot vardagsrum / matsal med katedraltak. Det finns en dubbel futon i vardagsrummet för extra sömn och vi kan också leverera en luftmadrass. Vi kan rymma fler människor i vår andra stuga (Homeaway # 956783) om du har en stor grupp eller familjesamling. Hela interiören är knutig tall med laminatgolv i hela, korkgolv i badrummet och propanstrålande golvvärme. Den yttre uteplatsen är ärtsten med en grill, picknickbord, stolar, vardagsrum och trappsteg ner till en ärtsten eldstad.

Excellent stay

The cabin exceeded all expectations. Grilling on the deck was a joy, and evenings by the fire pit were cozy and relaxing. The house itself was incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches and a perfect layout for our group. Its location, so close to Acadia’s attractions, made every adventure convenient. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base. If we return to Acadia, we’ll absolutely book this cabin again—it was the perfect retreat after days filled with exploration and adventure. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Wonderful Cottage

We spent 4 nights in this cottage which had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring and hiking on the quiet side of Acadia but easy enough to get everywhere we wanted to go. We were able to walk to and from the town (Southwest Harbor) in about 10 minutes. It is very well equipped and comfortable and we hope to return. It's nice to have the option of renting their other cottage as well for a bigger group and is also dog friendly.Keep your eyes open for wildlife!

Quiet getaway

We stayed a week in this quiet vacation house.Made many beautiful hikes. House was very well equipped. Beds were very good. Location close to Southwest Harbor center with a nice ice shop and good coffee at walking distance.

Peaceful oasis

This cottage was truly a hidden gem. Conveniently located and yet it felt totally private and relaxing. Clean, spacious, comfortable, and well supplied. The sunrise views are to die for! We had camped for two weeks prior to our stay so we were hoping for a relaxing close to our trip to Acadia and this cottage delivered. It had everything we needed with regards to cookware, space (2 adults and 2 kids), great wifi for the mornings I had to connect with work, the cutest laundry building, and a perfect outdoor set up for meals and campfire (even though we only used it once). My only note for other families with toddlers (my 15-month-old had just started walking), is to consider bringing or renting a baby gate or just block the stairs with a suitcase. The stairs are steep and you also don't want a toddler in the king bedroom in the loft due to the gaps in the railing (we have a similar set up in our own home so we were prepared). We hope to return in the future!

Great cottage!

Amazing cottage in walking distance of southwest harbor. Clean cottage with easy check-in, well stocked kitchen, great views of the sunrise. Added bonus of allowing our dog to come with us on vacation. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic Family Trip

We absolutely loved our trip here. The cabin is more gorgeous in person than the pictures. The cabin is close to everything and a short walk to the town. The outdoor seating area with the fire was a welcome way to spend a cool evening. It was nice to have a kitchen and laundry room. The loft overlooking the water was perfect. We hope to come back and would absolutely stay here again!

Acadia trip

This was our second stay at the cottage and it was everything we remembered from our first trip. It feels very secluded and peaceful but is walkable to town and the restaurants and shops of Southwest Harbor. Beds are comfy and there is everything you would need in the house, including many games and books in the laundry area which was very nice

Wonderful Stay in Southwest Harbor

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The location was so peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. We loved sitting on the loft and reading and my daughter loved the bunk beds. Everything was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the outdoor fire pit too! Couldn’t have asked for a better week.

Quintessential Maine!

We had such a great stay at cottage #2! I wish I had booked it for more days. The cabin was exceptionally clean and comfortable with a rustic feel. The view of the distant harbor from the master bedroom was so beautiful at sunrise. I kept waking up early just to watch view. Breakfast at the picnic table was also very serene. One morning we watched a red fox hunt for breakfast. It’s a great place to relax and decompress from the stress of life with all of the modern conveniences you’re used to (WiFi, streaming services, kitchen supplies, laundry). Walking distance to the small town with great little boutiques, a post office, a bakery, cafes and ice cream. Acadia/Bar Harbor is about a 25-30 minute drive. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay!

We loved Vicki’s cottage! It was super clean, the kitchen was very well equipped and the setting is amazing, so quiet and in the middle of the forest. It was really nice to be away from the crowd. I highly recommend it.

The Perfect Retreat

My family and I really enjoyed the cottage as a place to relax after long days of hiking and exploring Acadia. The accommodations were perfect, and it’s also in walking distance to several restaurants and shops as well. We also really enjoyed being able to have our dog with us to experience the park! Maine Cottage

The property was as described in the listing. It was very clean and well equipped. It was a little remote yet very accessible to everything we needed. The only recommendation I would make it that the kitchen needs better lighting and there needs to be more large size glasses.
