“This was by far one of the BEST rental homes I’ve ever stayed at. From the views, to the cleanliness of the home, to ALL of the amenities and carefully crafted home features. The house is extremely well stocked for any type of cooking you prefer to do too! They did not cut any corners. My new husband and I had an absolutely amazing stay here. 100% recommend!”

“The place was a perfect place to stay for a visit to Acadia. Within walking distance to the carriage roads and a very short drive to the entrance to the park. House was in a nice quiet location and the accommodations were everything we needed it to be. The owner was very friendly and helpful in making suggestions on hikes, food, and other adventures.”

“Just a nice place to stay, no real issues other than the thermostats were difficult to figure out, the kitchen roof leaks a little water when you shower upstairs, and the fridge shakes the house when the compressor turns off. Home owner was kind enough to mail me my souvenirs I souvenirs left, and everything was neat and tidy.”

“We really enjoyed staying here with our family on a trip to see Mount Desert Island (MDI) and Acadia. This was our kids first time being to MDI and having this house was perfect. The yard was great so they could run around and play on the swing set. Also, the kitchen was very well equipped so we were able to make multiple meals (you bring your own groceries) without having to go out. This makes it much more pleasant when traveling with kids. Our kids also enjoyed the multitude of items...

“This wonderful apartment is located on the Quiet Side of Mount Desert Island, which was a big plus for us! As an added bonus, there is a grocery store (and a laundromat) 0.1 mile away. The beds and sofas are comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with all the bakeware, cookware, crockery, flatware and utensils you will need. The bathroom is tiny, but certainly serviceable. And the owners, Tim and Sian are regularly updating and improving the property. Overall, we had a delightful stay!”
