Wir haben alles an der Unterkunft geliebt: die Gastfreundschaft von Giulia und Ihrer Familie, das wunderschöne, gepflegte Grundstück mit herrlichem Ausblick, den Pool, das Winetasting, hier stimmt einfach alles. Wir hatten es so schön und können Il Bacio nur empfehlen!

Il Bacio

We recently stayed at Il Bacio for 7 days, and it was more than we could have imagined. We were warmly welcomed by Sonia, upon our arrival, and shown through our apartment. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. The views from the terrace were stunningly beautiful and we never tired of sitting there soaking up the surrounding vistas. Franco, Sonia and Giulia were the best hosts that anyone could ask for. They provided us with a wonderful list of sights to see and restaurants to try. Sonia mapped out a little drive for us that we took one day. They are a wonderful, welcoming family that will take great care of you while you are staying at their winery. Given the chance we would do a return trip here without hesitation. Thank you for the wonderful memories of Tuscany.

Urlaub im Paradies

Wir hatten traumhafte 2 Wochen und fühlten uns einfach wunderbar von der Gastgeberfamilie aufgenommen. Die Unterkunft in dieser Umgebung war traumhaft, der Wein ist köstlich und alle haben sich so liebevoll um uns gekümmert. Unsere Hunde haben gleich Freundschaft mit dem Haushund Maja geschlossen, auch der Kater Dante hat uns uns nett empfangen und unsere Hunde auf seinem Gut toleriert. Vielen Dank, wir kommen wieder!

Breathtaking views

Il Bacio was a welcome stay after our week in Catania and Palermo. It was easy to find via google maps and exactly what we were looking for, peace and quiet. Beautiful views from every direction. Owners live on property so they were very helpful in recommending dinner places. Highly recommend Il Bacio for your stay, and the wine is delicious! I would only recommend if you purchase wine, grab the wine opener, there wasn’t one in the room.

Another fabulous stay!

We stayed at this property last year and just had another fabulous 2 weeks at this wonderful location. What a wonderful property! Franco and Sonia and their family are so warm and welcoming. And they were so helpful with planning and suggestions of places to visit. A big bonus is the wonderful wine they produce. We were running out of wine from our last shipment and sent more home! We will definitely be back! ♥️

Tuscany Winery Getaway

The whole experience was fantastic. The owners were great and provided a fantastic vacation for us. The property is beautiful and they gave us lots of ideas and places to go near by. The wine tasting was great. Highly recommend this as a great place to go for vacation.

Incredible views, friendly hosts, rustic charm

Absolutely beautiful views, extremely helpful and friendly hosts, and not far from Florence or Siena. It was sadly too cold in early May for the pool, but we spent a lot of time on the patio and by the pool reading, eating, drinking wine and marveling at the sunsets. I highly recommend that you ask the hosts for local restaurant recommendations! One of their recommendations was the best meal we had during our two weeks in Italy. Also, definitely ask the hosts to schedule a wine tasting, since it is also a vineyard. The only downside I can think of is that the shower gets cold fast, but that is part of the rustic charm. I would book this again!

Toskana bei Kälte, Regen und wenig Sonne im Frühjahr

Leider war das Wetter nicht sehr gut und daher fehlte eine ausreichende Beheizung der Wohnung. Weiter liegt die Ferienwohnung direkt neben der Weinverkostung der Familie, so dass eine individuelle Nutzung der Terrasse der Ferienwohnung nur eingeschränkt möglich ist. Die Familie ist sehr freundlich und sympathisch.

Beautiful property, kind owners

We loved the farmhouse and the family here is so nice. The views are the stuff of dreams and our room just charming. We got in late and hungry from a long day of travel, and they were so kind to bring us some food to prepare in our room to save a drive into town. Only wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to come back one day. Highly recommend!

Wundervolle Auszeit in der Idylle der Toskana

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Sonia und ihrer Familie. Die Unterkunft ist einfach nur schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und zuhause. Der Pool mit den eigens für die jeweilige Wohnung reservierten Liegen mit Schirm laden zum entspannen mit Blick auf die Weinberge ein. Wir hatten eine Weinprobe mit Sonias Mann und konnten die wirklich sehr guten eigenen Weine des Gutes probieren. Es war wirklich rundum toll. Vielen Dank für diese tolle Auszeit in der toskanischen Natur. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Extremely accommodating hosts with beautiful views and wine

Sonia and her family were exceptional, welcoming hosts with a stunning, Tuscan-charm property and delicious wine. When we were without a rental car on our first day (which we were advised to get as taxis are extremely limited), they were extremely accommodating--dropping off/picking us up at the bus stop and even ordering us a rental car to be sent to their home. Julia gave us the best restaurant recommendations, which were my favorite meals in Italy. Note: Internet works better outside. Grazie, Sonia and family!

10-yr anniversary Tuscan/Italy adventure

There is so much to say about our experience at Il Bacio in Tavernelle Val di Pesa. Sonia, Franco and family are likely the most accommodating family in all of Tuscany. The farm is so spectacular and the wine from their privately owned organic vineyard is magnificent!!! It has been our favorite stop on our trip! If you’re looking for quiet and quaint in the most picturesque Italian countryside, Il Bacio is the place for you!!!

Fabulous welcome in a stunning location

We loved our stay here. From the moment we drove down the road full of vineyards towards their property we knew it was going to be a fantastic five days. As we parked up the views were stunning and we were greeted with big smiles and shown to our property. Our property was great. Perfect for the two of us and it had all the basics you need to self cater. The nearest town was a few km away so we typically ate something when out during the day and then at night stayed in enjoying the tranquility, the wine and fantastic views Location wise it was great. We had already stopped at Florence and Pisa but both could be done as day trips. There are loads of wonderful places close by. Volterra, Sam Gimignano etc but also lots you don't see in tour books. Just pick some names off a map! As for driving the roads in the area were stunning. I was a bit worried about possibly bad roads and Italian drivers being more impatient than us British but I've found the whole two weeks driving around tuscany as some of the best I've ever done. Just download the area on Google maps before arriving so you can use it if you have no signal!

Dream Vacation

Stay as long as you can!

We stayed in Aia for two nights - just a teaser of Il Bacio. The property is majestic - beautiful views, smells, and tastes. Make sure you take a walk around the property to try some figs and berries. The pool was in the cooler side but good for the hot summer temps. If you are interested in wine tasting, I would recommend communicating beforehand to make sure they can accommodate you, especially during harvest season. The wine is delicious!!!! The white especially good for the pool :) There is a market and restaurants within 10 minutes. Sonia and Giulia so kindly took grocery requests before our arrival. Hope to be back soon!!

Vignoble de rêve

Lieu enchanteur, fleuri et intime blotti au creux d'une vallée avec une vue imprenable sur les vignes. La propriété ainsi que notre appartement Aia possèdent tout le charme rêvé de cette belle Toscane. Nos hôtes Franco et Sonia sont conviviaux, généreux et discrets, et leurs vins, tout simplement délicieux. Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour.

Amazing place to stay

Sonja and Franco were so welcoming. The views are amazing. It is the perfect place to stay to get away from the busy touristy crowds. Sit back on your terrace and enjoy some wine with breath taking views of the Tuscan hills. Franco gave us some great tips on restaurants and other things to see outside the normal tourist sites. Will definately be going back!
