Descripción apartamento:
Loft style apartment situated in a quiet pedestrian street, consisting of one bedroom, fully equipped bathroom with shower and a sitting/dining room area with open plan kitchen. The apartment is on the fifth floor with a lift and has a private sun terrace with a lovely view towards the Santa María del Mar Church.

The apartment is in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. Here, the remains of the old Roman city can be found, as well as the group of medieval palaces and convents that are the heritage of a splendid past. Barcelona was the capital of the Catalan counts and monarchs for five hundred years.

A wide selection of bars and restaurants with trendy furnishings are found just a few steps from the apartment. In spite of this touch of modernity, the historic Gothic Quarter of Barcelona still retains the old bohemian personality that characterized it before it became one of the most popular areas of the city, frequented by local inhabitants and tourists. The apartments are very close to one of Barcelona’s most renowned Gothic buildings, the church of Santa María del Mar.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
CHECK IN- In accordance with the Organic Law for the Protection of Citizen Security it is compulsory for all guests staying in tourist accommodation establishments to be registered by means of a national identity document or passport. This information will be notified to the police within 24 hours of your arrival.

- Access to our apartments will be provided either by using an App on your Smartphone or by introducing a code on the keypad you will find next to the entrance door.

- As soon as your booking is confirmed we will send you an email which will include an attached form which we ask you to fill in with your personal details and those of the other guests before making the payment and signing the rental agreement.

- 24/48 hours before your arrival and once the form has been completed you will receive a link to activate the keys.

- We would kindly inform you that our system is unable to generate the access codes until all the guest details are registered, full payment received, and the agreement signed and returned.

- Our apartments have noise measurement systems and night security. There are security cameras at the building entrance and stairs.

- We ask you to keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 7am.

HOURS:- Check in time: from 3.00pm onwards.- Departure time: before 11.00am- Please inform us of your expected arrival time

DEPOSIT- Your deposit payment will be returned within a maximum of 72 hours as soon as the vacated apartment has been checked.

Communication and host interaction were great. The heater worked well, the rooftop terrace would have been awesome if the weather had cooperated, and the location was perfect. The hot water tank needs time to reheat, which is not that unusual in Europe, but we live here, and we get way more than 10 minutes.While the kitchen had tools for cooking, there were no “starter” amenities, not even a salt shaker. No coffee/tea; nothing.Be aware there is no door to the bedroom & the “wall” between it and the bathroom is just frosted glass. I’m a light sleeper, and my husband is up hours before I am. Too much noise & light getting through, and ear plugs & eye shades just never worked for me.

It should have been so much better...

Good: quiet location at the edge of the Gothic Quarter, comfortable beds, nice kitchenette, very good air conditioning Bad: mold and soap scum in the shower, no hot water the first 2 days and then lost an entire morning waiting for the plumber to fix/change the hot water tank, who then left telling us the tank was fine and that it was an electrical problem, we got stuck in the tiny elevator one evening and my fiancé had a panic attack for 45 minutes until the firemen arrived and got us out Really bad: When we contacted our host for a partial refund they gave us one free night, but had the audacity to claim that my fiancé's panic attack was fake because she asked me to take a picture of her with the firemen after they got us out of the elevator. Apparently the manager thinks he's a clinical psychologist who can remotely diagnose using a security camera

Tiny nice apartment in perfect location

We spent a week here in May. The apartment is tiny but very well organized. You have all the necessary equipment. We had good WiFi, no problems with water, neither with pressure nor with temperature. The space on the rooftop is nice, though we used it only once, because of the rain. We used a washer and dryer in the building, which was handy. The best part is the location, which is unbeatable. The only thing which needs improvement is the check in process. The instructions on how to use the Sclak App are terrible. I spent a lot of time trying to make it open the building door for the first time. After that we had no problems accessing the apartment using the keypad at the building entrance.

Dazed and confused

The property was clean and adequate. Very small and difficult to locate, even our cab driver had to ask local merchants where it was. Instructions in the email were so confusing we almost gave up. It's supposed to be quiet but Saturday night was not. Lots of yelling in the elevator shaft. I found downloading an app to use my phone to access the building very complicated and I never managed it. Instead I was given the code for the key pad which was simple. Maybe start with that.

Worst customer interaction, beyond imagining

My confidence in this service has been extremely shaken. Should have just gone with a hotel as my partner insisted. We booked a room on vrbo months in advance, however missed the second payment installation that was required a month out. The room was then promptly cancelled on us. We messaged back apologizing for our missed pay and asked if there was any way we could still have the room. The response was that the room was booked and we had lost our reservation. We moved on and booked a room in the same building on bookings.com. We did all the communications to the building management on this site and filled all the booking payments and requirements sent to us through this site. 48 hours before we were suppose to arrive to our room, while we were at a beautiful mountain top dinner with my parents, we had Renato call my partner. He aggressively told her that she had made two bookings for the building and needed her to cancel a booking. When I found my partner Renato had berated her so much for this apparent double booking that she was crying and confused. This completely ruined what was suppose to be a beautiful anniversary dinner for my parents. The cause it seemed was that the links we were emailed were for the reservation made on vrbo and not for booking done on bookings.com. We had no ability of knowing that as our last correspondence with vrbo was that the room was cancelled and rebooked away from us. Still, we payed from the room with the links that were sent to us and Renato was aggressively urging us to cancel a booking so that he could book with someone else. We were naturally distrusting as the fear of us cancelling our booking could mean no room at all for us. This was the most unprofessional interaction I’ve ever had in customer experience. We followed the links provided, overpaid as we made a deposit on two rooms that we weren’t going to get back with at least one, and were still in fear of not having a room upon arrival. The app provided to access the door did not work as intended, there were cockroaches in the main lobby and our room (we have pictures). The cheap bed frame broke the moment I sat on it, meaning we slept on the floor for our four night stay. You would never get this nightmarish scenario ever going to a hotel. Everyone I meet who travels thinking of using this service I will implore to reconsider. For an internet booking service, the inability to provide the correct information to the customer is inexcusabl

Awesome location. Central to everything in Barcelona. Property is small. bedroom is small. Beds are just okay. But who cares. It’s all about location and this is perfect. You are not staying in the room except to sleep. Safe neighborhood and awesome vibe.

Best location ever!!

The communication and self-checkin process was great. The location could not be better. There are so many wonderful restaurants and coffee shops within close proximity to the apartment. And it’s only a couple blocks from the Port.

A little gem.

Great location for our stay in Barcelona. Five minute walk to the Metro station, a coffee shop just around the corner, bars and restaurants just a few blocks away. What's not to like? Oh, and there is a washer and dryer in the lobby. - very convenient. The apartment was clean, and nicely furnished. The bedroom was small, however, with barely enough space for the bed(s). Aside from this minor issue, we enjoyed staying here, and would choose it again.

Pure Erholung in dem besten Apartment, was ich je kennenlernen durfte

Ich bin sagenhaft begeistert über die Lage, das Apartment, die Dachterrasse (ich wohnte im 5. OG + das gehört dazu), die Betreiber (top Kommunikation !!). Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, man hatte neben einem Induktionsherd, einer Mikrowellle auch eine Saftpresse, Föhn, Heizer, Klimaanlage, Toaster etc. Es gab einfach alles dort. Der Kühlscharnk ist groß genug und ein Eisfach gibt es auch. Super viel Stauraum, bequeme Einzelbetten, die man zusammen schieben könnte. Eine Couch, eine Dusche & ein Bad. Dieses Apartment wird von nun an meine TOP-ADRESSE in Barcelona sein. Danke für alles !!!! Liebe Grüße aus Berlin, Nicole

Tutto ciò che serve

La proprietà è di recente ristrutturazione, forse un po piccolo l'appartamento, ma è ampiamente compensato dalla presenza di un grande terrazzo posto all'ultimo piano e ad uso esclusivo dell'appartamento all'ultimo piano. Posizione ottima, si trova esattamente a metà strada tra la rambla e la barceloneta facilitando molto lo spostamento in città a piedi. Giudizio molto positivo in generale, consigliato per soggiorni anche di più giorni o settimane.
