“Our review of the property at Sun Filled Lake House Living property from July 10 to July 18, 2026.Overall, we had a wonderful time. The property looked exactly like the pictures, and we absolutely loved the character of the old-style cottage. The setting nestled in the woods was beautiful, and having two outdoor sitting areas was a great feature. We particularly enjoyed spending our mornings having coffee on the front patio, which quickly became our favorite spot. We also spent a great day at...

“We loved the place, which feels like your own house in the woods. The setting is gorgeous especially with the leaves changing colors. We specifically chose the location so we could bike the Farmington Trail loop which starts at the bottom of the hill. The house is so well stocked with everything you could think of, especially coffee and there is plenty of space to relax inside and out. The host was very attentive to our needs. It couldn’t have been better for us.”

“Super cute home, very clean with everything you need. Property was manicured and very well kept. Comfortable beds and easy instructions for check in and checkout.”

“This VRBO has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Connecticut. The view and relaxing patio overlook paddlers on the Farmington River. The beds are comfortable and the furnishing are very pleasant. The little village of Collinsville provides wonderful trails to stroll. Several restaurants and music venues were fun, but the Farmer's Market on Sundays in the summer is not to miss. Carol, the host, lives next door, and can be reached easily. This was my second stay here and I would not...

“We do not drop poor reviews lightly. We rented a two unit house for 5 nights for 3,000. Out confirmation said we would have the place to ourselves. Instead, we had noisy construction crews on site, without any warning. When we complained and specifically asked that no one be on site for the remainder of our stay, the host agreed. That is not what happened. The crews showed up daily, sawing through brick and mortar in what appeared to be an addition. This all happened right outside our door,...

“WiFi reception in my room let me send emails easily and finish work before going to bed comfortably.”

“We stayed at "The Hanger" while visiting my mother for her 90th birthday. We were a rather large group, me, my three daughters, my oldest daughter's husband, my middle daughter's boyfriend and my two grandsons. The communication with the owner and the check in experience were both awesome. My grandkids (4 & 5) loved the aviation themed toys as well as the park next door. All in all it was a terrific stay. I even felt like the owner would've given us recommendations on what to do in the area,...

“Great place and stunning location. Absolutely loved the quiet and perfect mix of old times with modern convenience. Had a short stay this trip but intend on returning in the future.”
