“Looks like the property has been recently upgraded Rooms were very good, clean, newly upgraded. Staff were miserable. At check in it appeared we were inconvenienceing them. Over three days only saw the breakfast girl smile. One day the cleaners did not close the room door properly so it was left open, unlocked. When I spoke with the cleaner they just shrugged. Have stayed in other Monte Carlos in the past and they were excellent. Don't know what was up with this staff.”

“The Pottery had an excellent breakfast and supper. The breakfast staff was superb. Our waiter for supper seemed really busy by himself but was able to serve us well. Jozo’s had the spicy Caesar that the term Apres stayed with us for the night. lol.”

“Location is convenient. Beds are decent. Some staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. We were staying one week and needed to work on our laptop and requested an extra chair in our room. The immediate response was unfriendly and a hard “no.” Decor is cold and uninviting (cold grey paint). Painting over mouldy caulking and mouldy paint is just lipstick on a pig.”
