Gorgeous nyare hem på Mt. Desert Island, Minuter till Acadia

Nyligen avslutade hem på trädbevuxen bostadsområde väg i Bass Harbor, på den tysta sidan av Mt. Desert Island (renoveringar färdig våren 2012). Home har en stor layout och bekvämt rymmer en stor familj, två familjer eller flera par. De kök, vitvaror, badrum, fixturer och många möbler är helt nya. En gas spis i vardagsrummet kan ta kylan borta en Maine morgon eller kväll. Sovrum inkluderar en king size-mästare med eget badrum, queen size-sovrum och en våningssäng rum som sover 4. Det finns en veranda och stort akterdäck utanför köket. Hemmet är smakfullt inredda och välutrustade. Ägarna har små barn och är glada att ta emot er. Husdjur förhandlingsbara.

Kom och besök allt som Mt. Desert Island och Acadia National Park har att erbjuda, medan du njuter av rymliga och bekvämt boende på denna vackra stuga i skogen.



Den första nivån öppen planlösning innehåller ett kaklat farstun, badrum, kök med bardisk och sittplatser för 4, matsal med plats för 6, den / allrum och vardagsrum med en gas spis. Det finns tre sovrum på övervåningen, inklusive ett stort sovrum med king size-säng, klädkammare och privat badrum. Befälhavaren bad har en dubbel granit fåfänga, kakel dusch och separat badkar. Även på övervåningen hittar du en queen size-sovrum och ett stort våningssäng rum med två uppsättningar våningssängar att sova fyra. Nedervåningen, kan vardagsrummet rymmer ytterligare två gäster. Alternativen är en queen size-bäddsoffa och en dubbel storlek utdragbar stol-och-en-halv. Hemmet kan rymma upp till 10 personer, men mer bekvämt 8. Madrasser och sängkläder är alla nya. Det finns en annan full storlek badrum på övervåningen hallen. Båda övervåningen badrummen har klinkergolv med strålningsvärme. Hemmet har trägolv i hela, och den första våningen har också strålningsvärme (en fördel för kyliga våren och hösten besök). En bärbar spjälsäng, barnstol och andra barn och barn artiklar finnstillgängliga på begäran. Vänligen kontakta ägaren med dina speciella behov.

We had a great stay at Maria’s house. She was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The house is very cozy and warm. We also love the quietness of the location and only a half hour drive to Bar Harbor, about 20 minutes to Cadillac Mountain and 15 minutes to Bass Harbor Lighthouse.The kitchen is well stocked with almost everything you need to cook or grill. My 2 mini schnauzers love the yard and surrounding woods. It’s like staying in an enchanted forest with a harbor nearby. We will stay there again when we’re in the area. Highly recommended!

This house was perfect for our family. My parents, my siblings, my wife, and my two toddlers loved the house. It is in a great location, a short drive to Acadia. The property is secluded and quiet, yet close enough to do quick day trips. The host provides an abundance of things for all ages. There are books, puzzles, toys, and games. My kids were always entertained. The host was very easy to work with and the description was best accurate. This house truly felt like a home away from home!

Perfect Family Getaway in Beautiful Bass Harbor!We had the most amazing stay at this lovely home in Bass Harbor! We were two families traveling together, with kids ranging in age from 8 to 15, and this house could not have been more perfect for us.From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was immaculately clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. It had that perfect mix of cozy charm and modern convenience. Every room was thoughtfully furnished and inviting, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out, relax, and enjoy.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need! We cooked several meals at home and appreciated how easy and enjoyable it was to do so. The living areas were perfect for games, movie nights, and unwinding after long days exploring Acadia and the surrounding area.The location was ideal—quiet, peaceful, and just a short drive to all the sights and trails we wanted to explore. Coming back to this house after a day of adventure truly felt like coming home.We made wonderful memories here—morning coffees on the deck, shared dinners around the table, laughter echoing through the house—and we’re so grateful for the time we spent in this special place.Highly recommend to any families or groups looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, and welcoming home. Beautiful extremely clean home with great host!

If you are going to the area you probably already know what a great place it is. We were very near hiking trails and great restaurants. We were two couples and it was very spacious. Great kitchen with large cooking area. All in all a great stay.

Wonderful stay on the quiet side of MDI

We had a wonderful weeklong stay with members of our extended family. The house and property is beautiful, well maintained and clean. Kitchen is fully stocked with all items necessary to cook. Plenty of games, books, and some puzzles to keep people entertained at the house. The hosts have provided detailed check-in information on how to find the house, along with a book detailing check out and other important information pertaining to the rental. One thing to note, which the host mentioned they plan to make note of for future renters, is that the master shower can take a little bit to heat up on the first day. When I reached out about this they were very prompt in their response. We enjoyed everything about our stay here.

Wedding week

We stayed at Maria’s house for our elopement wedding weekend with our family and friends. It was absolutely perfect! Much bigger than the pictures make it seem. Very clean, comfy and homey. The kitchen is completely stocked to cook full meals and they even had a high chair for our little guy. Very quiet neighborhood, ample parking. We couldn’t have asked for a better home for our week in MDI, we will definitely be back!

summer 23 vacation

Stayed with family and a family we are friends with for the week went hiking in the mornings and exploring the area in the afternoon. Lots to see and do if your the outdoors type and love nature. Enjoyed cooking in the big well equipped kitchen for dinner before we started playing board games before bed. Kind of a long ride to bar harbor and Acadia national park other than that no complaints very quit beautiful area

Fantastic vacation home for a family.

Very nice home with an open concept. It was perfect for us. It had everything we needed and more. I traveled with my adult daughter, son-in-law, 13 month old granddaughter and adult son. We each had our own bedroom. The owner supplied us with a high chair and toys for our granddaughter. We all had a great time! Would definitely stay at this home again the next time we return to Acadia National Park. HIghly, highly recommend staying here!!! A family trip we will never forget!

Spacious and comfortable in an ideal location

We loved our stay and can’t wait to return. The location is magical and quiet, both on the street and the location on MDI. The house has a cozy warm feel with tons of space. It was very clean and bright and was perfect for our annual Acadia getaway.

A Sparkle in the Woods

It was ok but wouldn’t return

We booked our trip a bit late and this was probably the nicest place that was still available for the end of August. The host was nice and accommodating and even opened the windows for us before arriving to air the place out. I’m just super clean and overly picky so the things I mention might not bother most people. The house was not cleaned to my standards. We found dog hair all over and had to take our socks off at night and wash them separate due to how much stuck to them. We don’t have dogs so to us this is quite icky. We had our baby in a travel crib in the master bedroom but had to move her almost near the door because the big window on the front wall is cracked. The dressers and mirrors and furniture could use some updating. The walls and floors are in need of repair. The mosquitos are horrendous due to the house being located on a swamp/wetland area. The neighbors are awful. Loud and have dogs that roam around without boundaries (one nearly attacked my 4 year old). The location isn’t ideal but it’s doable. On the plus side my kids appreciated the toys and games. Overall we had an ok stay but I would not stay here again and instead find a cleaner quieter place.
