“This property was an affordable way to have an enjoyable stay near all the sights of Acadia. The ability to do laundry during our trip was a big plus as well as 4 twin beds for 4 adults with room to spread out. Generally we spent time exploring Acadia and Bass Harbor but having the house allowed a day of relaxation and puzzle assembly for some while others spent more time hiking. Owners were fantastic!! Would stay again. ”

“Super new and clean. Loved the open floor plan for visiting after our hikes in Acadia. Beds were very comfortable. House did not lack in any necessities. It was about a 35 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Not exactly easy to run back to the house if you wanted a mid day break, but we knew the location when we booked and enjoyed the quietness of neighborhood. The host was extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“By far the best VRBO I have experienced. Amenities are above and beyond what one would expect. For our girls trip we looked for a unique place that would allow us to experience the island. “Absolutely loved this private tiny home. Very quiet and private location. Super clean as it is brand new. I saw deer in the yard each night I stayed. Bed was comfy. Only 1 hr away from Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Beautiful sunset spot 10 minutes away at caterpillar hill. I would definitely book again”

“This was an incredible place to stay. Great home base for Acadia NP. Very peaceful and quiet. Stocked with everything you need. Fire pit is amazing. The bars were super comfy and the house was very clean. Highly recommended!”

“Cute little house away from the Bar Harbor mess. Host clearly loves the area and provides a wealth of useful information. House is immaculate and in like new condition. Very nicely decorated and well equipped. Only negative is the the two stair cases are steep and would not be a good choice for someone with limited mobility.”

“My family rented the Farmhouse & Cottage to celebrate my Dad’s 60th birthday near his favorite place in the world (Acadia), and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Held all of us with no issue, and the kitchen was great for prepping all our meals. Both the farmhouse and cottage were super cozy, and the location is absolutely serene, with access to water within walking distance, down the street. Elizabeth was also an awesome host - super communicative and accommodating (we had 3 dogs and kiddos...

“Our family had a wonderful stay at the wagon wheel cottage! It was comfortable and cozy, and had all the amenities needed for a family getaway! The beds were comfy, the bathrooms looked newly renovated, and we had room to hang out. It was close to the Acadia entrance, the Crooked Coffee shop (delicious), and only 10 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor. Thank you!!”
