We were within easy access to restaurants and a short drive to everything Acadia has to offer. Our top activities included pastries and pizza from Little Notch bakery, visiting the Carroll homestead, hiking the Wonderland trail, visiting the lighthouse, the beach, and Jordan Pond loop with popovers afterwards. “This was a wonderful, spacious place for our extended family vacation. The property has all the essentials plus a number of luxury touches, including upgraded appliances. The host was very communicative and helpful throughout. A minor quibble: people kept tripping over the carpet edge in the main house as it was not flush with the floor. It probably needs to be taped down. Other than that, it was great and we would certainly stay at this property again.”
