“Great views. House pretty clean & supplies were fine except only 3 coffee cups for 6 adults. VACasa said they would get more cups. They failed, never received. Some lights didn't work & lots of dead bugs in light fixtures.”

“This is a nicely remodeled, fully furnished, clean home. All the basic necessities were provided for cooking and serving meals as well as bathroom, bedding, and laundry needs. The bed and furniture were comfortable. There is a large deck off the kitchen with a view of a nature preserve. The nature preserve has walking paths through the woods that my dog seemed to enjoy. “This unit was perfect for the two of us and our small dog. The apartment is in the center of Boothbay Harbor with water views. I am used to supplying our own paper goods after the initial single roll of tp and paper towels at VRBO rentals. The owner supplied plenty of everything to make our stay perfect. I would definitely rent this unit again or refer to friends.”

“The house was clean, well maintained, and tucked away in a quiet spot. You can walk to grab lunch and dinner from town, and to sightsee along the water. “Can’t say enough great things about this lovely home! So clean, fresh and bright! The downstairs bedroom and bathroom was perfect for my older dad. The location couldn’t have been better. “Highly recommended! The property is conveniently located within a short drive of Downtown Boothbay Harbor. The view from the house was spectacular and the accommodations extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were truly memorable, and coffee and fresh baked cookies served as a delightful afternoon treat. Carolyn and the Five Gables staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, readily sharing their local knowledge of the area. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

Recent renovations provided creature comforts, and getting out to explore in-town Bath or out to Reid was a short car ride away. “Room was as pictured and described. Ms. Dot greeted us warmly and it was obvious the owners went out of their way to provide anything we might need...from toiletries, to coffee, to paper goods, to lots of TV viewing options. We were told we were welcome to use the deck as well as the laundry room. We were very comfortable! The neighborhood is beautiful, as is the front yard. Bath is a lovely little town with lots of restaurants and shops. Reny's was awesome!”
