Maten var också jättegod och man kunde få frukosten serverad till sin balkong/uteplats vilket kändes superlyxigt. “We just loved everything about our stay at Kayumanis. We were a bit unlucky with the weather due to that it was rainy season it rained quite a lot all the time. We could think of worse places to stay though. We had some problems with bugs hence to the rain. They came in numbers after the heavy showers, but the staff did a great work helping us so after a whiles wait we didn´t have any problem at all. “Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. “We enjoyed every moment of 6 day stay in this 2 bedroom villa. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Even when we arrived earlier than expected they gave us access to a smaller room to rest up until our room was ready . The room service menu options were delicious. The villa was beautiful!!!! I wish the jacuzzi got hot but i guess it wasn’t mean to be a jacuzzi lol So don’t be too surprised that it’s the same temperature as the pool. Many other reviews mentioned the bugs, lizards ,...

“The place was really nice and cozy and had all the amenities you need for a long stay! In the area there a lot of local stalls and supermarkets which was nice. Canggu was only a 10 minute drive from the villa so we spent most of our time there. Only down fall when booking this place was I didn’t realise how far it would be from the main city. But all good things we really enjoyed our stay, and will be back in the near future!! Thanks guys!”

"Very nice and affordable 5 star place in the middle of everything. Saves time and money since you dont need the daily transfers m you otherwise typically need. And keep in mind Ubud traffic is the definition of chaotic (in a charming kind of way). There is one “however” and that is breakfast. Looks good but tastes… let’s say not so much. However, it is not a dealbreaker. There are lots of nice affordable places on the street outside. "

"At first glance the place looked great and met our expectations. However after checking in and seeing our rooms and the different facilities we were a bit disappointed. The reception staff we talked to initially was very nonchalant and we did not feel welcomed. The rooms are worn by age and it is obvious the place has seen better days. If you want a cozy, relaxing jungle visit I suggest a more modern resort. If you want more action I suggest booking something closer to Ubud as the daily shuttle service is always delayed by traffic."
