“We enjoyed our stay. The Inn is unique and as the oldest continually operating hotel In Portland, it was cool to be part of that history! Be aware if you are planning to stay, there is not an elevator so if you have any limitations, you will want to be sure you are on the first floor. The Inn is in a great location with the waterfront within walking distance and has free onsite parking. It was clean and quiet and the staff was friendly. Would definitely stay there again!”

“Ett mycket trevligt B & B, bara 50 meter från stadens stora shoppinggata och LL Beans varuhus. För ovanlighetens skull i USA är det faktiskt möjligt att promenera till affärer och restauranger. Rummen på The James Place Inn är förstås lite olika, det är trots allt ett äldre hus. Men rummet vi hade var stort och bra. Frukosten som serverades på morgonen var mycket bra och ägarparet är mycket vänliga och ger bra tips om Freeport.”

“The property was easy to find. Contactless check in was great as we were later getting there. The bathroom was newly renovated and beautiful. “The absolute star if the show here is the inn owner Kathy! She is very knowledgeable about the area and even pointed out a great yarn shop down the road as she knew I was a knitter.
