“Beautiful private cottage with such ease of access to beach. The sand was much more pleasant to walk on than the sand directly in town which is about a 5-10 minute walk depending on if you’re distracted looking for sand dollars and shells. The owner Lena was so accommodating to my wild children, my anniversary and daughter’s birthday was celebrated during our stay, and Lena brought a small cake & gift to my daughter on her special day. “We had a great stay at Heron’s Perch! This house has lots of space for hanging out and sleeping. The beds are comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels provided and a well stocked kitchen. Our absolute favorite was the wonderful, private front porch. This house is within walking distance to everything down front on the island. If you’re looking for space and being close to the ferry, stores and beaches I would highly recommend.”

“The house is great for extended family vacation with 3 bedrooms each having its own bathroom. The only slight drawback is that there is no dining table. It's only a 15 to 20 minute walk to the amusements, pier and the beach. ”
