“The room was beautiful, modern, clean and had good amenities. There is a view of the ocean. It is within walking distance of the boardwalk. We were happy our dog could stay too. Our only complaint (very minor) is that it would be nice if there were more shelves and/or hooks in the bathroom. Thank-you so much for the hospitality!”

“We had a wonderful stay at Cathy’s place in Souris! The property was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect — peaceful and scenic, yet close to town and local attractions. Cathy was a warm and attentive host who made us feel right at home. “Our stay was absolutely incredible - the house and beach were even better than the photos. The host, Amanda, has thought of everything you could possibly need, and has curated a beautiful home with really nice items and products to use. The location is close to really great beaches, like Greenwich and Basin Head, and a quick drive into Souris for groceries. “The house is as described. Nicely located to explore PEI with the St-Peters bay and sunset just in front. There is a small quaint shopping mall with an ice cream parlor and fish store at walking distance. Living area and dining room are perfect for a family gathering and diner. The 2 bedrooms with queen size bed are very nice and spacious (but they are connected, if you need to go to the bathroom in the night). ”

“Perfect home base to explore the East side of PEI. House was clean, comfortable and hosts very accommodating. A short drive to Basin Head beach, aka Singing Sands beach, close to Fireworks Feast at Bay Fortune and golfing options nearby as well. We very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend this spot to others! ”

“We appreciated the view of the ocean and sights of many beautiful birds. The private and quiet setting allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our stay. The swimming pool was a great bonus which we took advantage off. Bothwell beach was stunning and just a short 2 min drive from the cottage. The cottage itself was spacious and was well equipped.”

“The Purple House is a wonderful place to stay. Having the wharf right there was great. Watching the fishing boats coming in, the beautiful sunsets and the ability to see the tide come in was a great experience.The house is full of history.
