“The cottage was comfortable and well set up. We will definitely consider going back: it's a great distance for a weekend getaway from Halifax, and the amenities are nice (that sauna!). “My husband and I stayed at this lakeside retreat in early May. Our son in law's family have a cottage down the road. While we spent most of our day in the other cottage, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Lakeside retreat. It is very well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed working on a few puzzles and listening to music on the Google Home Sound system. We hope to come again one day with our granddaughters and swim in the Medway river and Ponhook lake.”

“My friends and I had such a lovely weekend getaway at the Waverley Cottage! Even though the weather didn’t cooperate, we enjoyed kayaking in the rain, playing games inside and BBQ dinners. Chris was an amazing host and offered so many extra touches throughout the cottage that made the stay stand out. There were mini toiletries available in case you forgot anything, a thoughtful snack bundle and fresh towels & chocolates on each bed. This truly was a 5-star getaway!”
